IF TYPEFACES WERE DOGS, THIS IS WHAT THEY’D LOOK LIKE NEW WORK FROM GRAFISCHES BÜRO, FROM THE PLACE WHERE DESIGN MEETS CANINE

Have you ever looked hard at a font and wondered, “If this were a dog, which one would it be?” No? That’s so weird. Either way, Vienna-based studio Grafisches Büro have released a collection of images printed onto a poster that demonstrate to us which dog could be related to any particular typeface. After observing each breed for their various unique characteristics and styles, they have done the same to a variety of fonts and linked dog to fonts depending, of course, on their similarity of nature. Strange? Perhaps. Awesome? Indeed. The poster was printed using a silkscreen technique on sheets of 1000 by 700 mm and published in a limited-edition box.
