Grab your Golden Ticket to Design and Happiness!

20-21 February
Melbourne, Australia.

Brace yourselves people, legendary designer Stefan Sagmeister is about to hit our shores. For those of you in the know Stefan certainly needs no introduction, for those of you who are scratching your head and asking Stefan who? Let me give you a quick run down.

Stefan Sagmeister is a New York based designer whose is renowned for his eye catching album covers. In 2005 Stefan received a Grammy award for his Art Direction for the work that he did on the ‘Once in a lifetime’ box set for the Talking Heads. In 2010 he went on to take out his second Grammy for the design of David Byrne and Brian Eno’s album ‘ Everything that happens will happen today.’ Are you impressed yet?

Working with recording artists such as the late Lou Reed, Ok go, David Byrne, Pat Metheny, Aerosmith and The Rolling Stones. Yes… The ROLLING STONES! (Come on… you’ve got to admit that is pretty impressive.) Stefan is very well respected within the music industry, as he is admired in the design industries and adored amongst us design nerds.

On the 20th and 21st of February, Stefan will be hosting an exclusive event and workshops in Melbourne thanks to our friends at AGDA and the Billy Blue college of design. The catch is though, in order to attend this once in a lifetime opportunity to get up close and personal with a legend of this calibre, you must be an AGDA member. Becoming a member of one of Australia’s premier design associations is not really that difficult, but securing your ticket may be another story entirely. With tickets starting from $45, you can safely bet that they are going to sell out quicker than the 14 on Fire Tour.
