One night in Bangkok and the world’s your oyster!

Hidden away in the back streets of Fortitude Valley is Kwan Brothers, an oriental jewel that shines so bright that even the neon lights of Tokyo look dim. From the moment you walk in, you will be transported to the mystic east with décor that is a stunning and eclectic tribute to all things Asian.

The first thing you will notice is the great wall of Kwan, it features images of Asian pop culture from Psy to Monkey Magic and everything in between. The lanterns and brightly coloured higasa (parasols) hanging from the ceiling are a nod to traditional Japanese culture. The red, gold and purple hues will take you back to that time you spent in Bali before life got way too serious.

All of these funky interior design elements combined, has seen the magnificent Kwan Brothers shortlisted for ‘best bar design’  in the 2014 Eat Drink Design Awards. So head on down to funky town and show your support for the coolest kid on the block.
