Ideal candidates will have a degree in business, communications or journalism, with a minimum of 4 years’ public relations experience in either a public relations agency or communications role in a corporate environment. Solid experience in researching and developing communications strategies and plans that achieve specific business or stakeholder objectives is also required.
They will also have a demonstrated ability to perform to a high standard in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines, while maintaining a cordial but professional manner in dealing with clients.
A sound knowledge of news values across mainstream and trade media and the experience to apply this knowledge to achieve publicity outcomes for clients across a range of industries is essential. Candidates will enhance their suitability for the role with a portfolio of work that demonstrates their outstanding writing and editing ability and experience delivering tight, active and grammatically correct copy.
