Tomorrow evening, our friend Fintan Magee will be opening his first solo exhibition in Sydney at The Tate Gallery.
For this show, the Australian artist will be unveiling an installation and new series of amazing works on paper.
The show continues with the narratives from the ‘Brisbane Flood refugee boat’ piece (covered) and explores greater themes surrounding the Brisbane flood disaster like climate change, the new conservative government in Queensland, and the current cultural exodus from Brisbane to bigger cities.
If you are in the area, the show will be opening Wednesday March 27th at 6PM – The Toxteth 345 Glebe Pt Rd, Glebe, Sydney, 2037
